Get in touch

Landowners are quick to appreciate landscape scale conservation and scaleable nature based solutions, when it is explained in a way that resonates with their vision. We can help move them beyond barriers to access to information, capital and influence.

We broker niche and nuanced solutions for landowners, communities and corporate leaders that protect, restore and monetize conservation values for public benefits and community impact. Conservation impacts include flood risk mitigation, improved resiliency, land stabilization and wealth generation. We advocate for conservation solutions as drivers for sustainable economic development, brand differentiation, and Sense of Place.

Internships

Zachary S. Ellis

Zachary completed a 6 month internship, while completing his Environmental Engineering degree at Johns Hopkins University.

Zachary’s main project was modeling Resilient Lands Matter’s Stakeholder Engagement Ecosystem using Python’s Bokeh and Networkx libraries. The model is a representation of Resilient Lands Matter’s whole system problem-solving approach. It serves as a tool for situational assessment for Clients and complex social structures. An in-depth description of the model can be found on the Communities page.

Internship experience included evaluating environmental action plans of city governments, project management coordination and assessing conservation impacts related to Carbon Sequestration, flood storage capacity, and air quality improvements for Client reporting.

“From working with Resilient Lands Matter I’ve learned just how much effective communication plays a role in establishing impactful environmental solutions.” -Zachary
