Non-profits are chronically underresourced and have a challenging business model that disconnects services from payments, so there is a duality always on messaging to donors vs messaging to clients.
Public benefit structure lets me be out of that business model, and provide objective and astute insight for improved mission effectiveness. Again, there is not a one size fits all approach, so 3 month, 6 month and 12 month retainer contracts are recommended, once value alignment has been vetted and adequate resources committed to a shared vision.
Staying authentic to value aligned work, it is a joy to provide high level confidential strategy, coaching, mentoring, team building, facilitation and public speaking to build capacity, without co-dependecy, for a shared outcome.
